The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is a central agency approved by the government of India for conducting several prestigious exams like CDS (Combined Defense Services), IFS (Indian Forest Services), NDA (National Defense Academy), ESE (Engineering Services Examination), SCRA (Special Class Railway Apprentice), CMSE (Combined Medical Services Examination), CSE (Civil Services Examination), IES (Indian Economic Services) and NA (Naval Academy Exam).

UPSC CSE (Civil Services Examination) is conducted in 3 phases:

CSAT – Preliminary Examination (Objective Type), Main Examination – Subjective Type and the Final Interview.

UPSC is considered as one of the most competitive examination across the globe mainly because of the vastness in the syllabus and the strength of candidates appearing for the examination in comparison to the number of available seats.

Every year, approximately 50 percent of the candidates who applied, appear for the civil services prelims examination. Of these, just 5 percent of the candidates qualify and appear for the UPSC Mains. Around 20 percent of the candidates qualify mains and allowed to appear for the final interview. 40 percent of those who appear in the interview finally qualify the exam.

UPSC Recruitment Notification 2017-2018

The most awaited, UPSC Notification 2017-18 is out. Union Public Service Commission being the central recruitment agency of the government of India conducts exams for recruitment. IFS, CDS, SCRA, NDA, Civil Service exams, etc. are conducted by UPSC every year. An individual can have a fulfilling career in the government sector by clearing these examinations. Among these, the Civil Services is the most sought after career due to its challenging nature and the prestige attached to the service. It is a highly respectable job. Age Limit– Candidates age should be between 18 to 30 years to apply for HPSEB for the above post. Age relaxation is applicable as per government rules.

Pay Scale Details- Candidates applying for the post of Junior T-Mate and Junior Helper shall have a salary of INR 6200 per month.

Educational Qualifications- Candidates applying to HPSEB should have passed Matric with relevant ITI certification from recognized Board or equivalent for the post of Junior T-Mate and Junior Helper.
