TNPSC Syllabus 2014

Syllabus for Group I service Preliminary exam It has single paper i.e. General Studies (degree standard) paper. It has 200 questions. Each question has 1.5 marks. Total mark is 300. In this question paper first 150 questions are based on general studies and next 50 questions are based on aptitude and mental ability. Minimum qualifying mark for OC candidate is 120 marks and other candidate is 90 marks.

TNPSC Group 1 Syllabus for Main exam

It has descriptive type written exam and interview. Written exam has III papers. This written exam questions are based on Degree standard. Paper I questions are based on modern history, aptitude and mental ability. Paper II questions are based on Indian polity and Tamil society. Paper III questions are based on current events and economics. Each paper has 300 marks. Total marks for written exam is 900 marks. Interview and record mark is 120 marks. It has main exam. It has objective type questions based on SSLC standard. It has 200 question and 300 marks. First 75 questions based on general studies, next 25 questions based on aptitude and metal ability, next 100 questions are based on GT/GE. Minimum qualifying mark for all candidates is 90 marks.

TNPSC Syllabus for Village Administrative Officer

It has single paper. It has objective type questions. It has 200 questions and 300 marks. First 75 questions are based on general studies questions, next 25 questions are based on basic of Village Administrative, next 20 questions based on aptitude and mental ability (SSLC), next 80 questions based on GT/GE. Minimum qualifying mark for all candidates is 90 marks.
